Structural Steel Project Completed for Gala Homes
Using a 60 tonne crane to position structural steel members weighing over 5 tonne is all in a days work for Network Steel.
We were recently hired to complete structural steel work for a Gala Homes project at Virginia Avenue Hawthorne, Brisbane. This residential project was positioned right on Brisbane river, making it an interesting challenge for Network Steel.
In order to construct a structural steel skeleton frame on a site that stepped down to the river a 60 tonne crane was required to position structural steel members weighing over 5 tonnes and measuring up to 14 metres.
Our steel beams now provide the homeowners with huge areas of open plan living and beautiful, uninterrupted views of Brisbane city.
Although this project was residential, it took on many characteristics of a commercial development. Our wealth of experience in both residential and commercial structural steel supply and installations made Network Steel a perfect fit for this project and we met all our clients expectations.
